Industrial Property Rights
Industrial
property rights are exlusive rights to protect inventions, marks used as
symbols for goods and services, and for example the appearance of a
product. The industrial property rights include among other things
patents, utility models, trademarks, designs, business names and
other uncommonly used forms of protection, such as topographies of
integrated circuits and the plant breeder's right.
Basic
information of the most useful industrial property rights can be found
for example on the web pages of The Finnish Patent and Trademark Office.
