Grounds for keeping the register

The retention of information in the register is based either on a contractual relationship with our company, on the person's consent to the storage of the information or on our company's legitimate interest in collecting information for the purpose of our business.

We collect and store information about potential new customers based on customer relationships or business. The collection of data from new potential customers is based on business operations and we collect the data ourselves.

Purpose of personal data

We process personal data in connection with customer relationships or other material connections for handling, analysis and marketing.

Our operations are based on legitimate business, so we also comply with EU legislation on the storage of personal data:

  • The information we store about an individual is lawful, reasonable and transparent with respect to processing. This means that a person can have their information available at any time.

  • Information has a purpose limitation - for example, the information we collect about individuals is limited to a specific purpose. We will not disclose the information to third parties unless there is a proper reason to do so.

  • We minimize the information we store - we only store what is necessary

  • We strive to keep our information accurate

  • We limit data retention - data is deleted when it is no longer needed

  • We store intact and reliable information, for example, backed up through backups

Information content of the register:

  • First and last name

  • Contact information

  • Other textual information related to the customer relationship

  • Information collected from the Internet

In connection with a customer relationship, we store minimum information, which typically includes the person’s unique name, possibly the company, and contact information such as email and phone number.

Sources of information

Customers have provided their information themselves and we have also retrieved it from customers' websites and various search services.

In addition, in connection with business operations, for example, in the acquisition of new customers, we can use e.g. names picked from the media that we can contact for business purposes.
